    Abstract:

    Ten components were isolated from the stems of Vatica mangachpoi Blanco and identified as:sitgmast-4-en-3-one (I),3-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzoic acid (II),syringaldehyde (III),scopoletin(IV,parahydroxybenzaldehyde(V),2,6-dimethoxyquinone(VI),4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxycinnamaldehyde (VII),asiatic acid (VIII),3-(1-C-β-D-glucopyranosly)-2,6-dihydroxy-5-methoxybenzoic acid (IX),1,3,3a,4,9,9a-hexahydro-4-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-5,7-dimethoxy-naphtho[2,3-c]furan-6-ol(X),among which compounds I,II,IV,VI,VII,VIII,IX,X were isolated from this genus for the first time.
